Hello mommies in Japan and all around the world. Welcome to Bilingual Baby.

What’s wrong?

Today’s quick English lesson is actually very easy, and can be used right away. When your child starts crying, try asking him or her “What’s wrong?” By asking this in English, not only do you expose your child to the English language, but you are also essentially showing your child that you value abd respect his/her feelings. Many foreigners believe that asking your children these questions helps them on their road to independence.

Not only is it a great phrase for children, but since it can also be used with adults, it is a brilliantly convenient phrase. Try it out!
